Stoning in a dream: what does it mean?
This is an execution method still in use in a small number of jurisdictions, and dreams of it are reported by people who have only ever read about it.
How do the four traditions read it?
Each reading below comes from a named tradition and a cited source, so you can see where it came from and decide what fits your dream. The four often disagree, and that is the point: a symbol rarely means one fixed thing, and the distance between Freud, Jung, modern research and myth tells you more than any single verdict could.
Freud
Freud would attend to the crowd rather than the stones, since the dream has arranged for harm to be done by everybody and therefore by nobody in particular.

A Jungian reading would treat collective violence as collective material, and would be careful not to make a dream of it the dreamer's private guilt.

Dreams of being pursued or attacked by a group are commonly reported and are not evidence of anything. Where the dream follows real exposure to news of such events, that is ordinary media residue. If it follows real experience, trauma-dream research is the relevant literature and the practical answer is a doctor rather than a symbol dictionary.

The practice is recorded in several ancient legal codes and its defining feature everywhere is that responsibility is distributed, so that no individual can be said to have struck the fatal blow. That design is the point of it.
