What does it mean to dream about needle?
A needle often stands for a small sharp point that mends or pierces, so it helps to ask whether it was joining things together, pricking you, or hard to find.
Four ways to read it
Each reading below comes from a named tradition and a cited source, so you can see where it came from and decide what fits your dream.
Freud
Freud would read the needle as a piercing instrument with bodily meaning, bound up with penetration, pain, and repair. A prick or an injection can carry both anxiety and the wish to be made whole.

Jung might see the needle as the fine point that joins what is torn, the patient work of mending the self. To thread it can mark the careful effort to bring pieces back together.
Jungian concept (our summary).Modern
Threat-simulation theory reads a needle or syringe as a danger object, the sleeping mind rehearsing pain and the instinct to flinch away. It can also echo waking thoughts about health, healing, or mending something.
Threat-simulation theory (our summary).Mythological
The magic needle that sews fates and the spindle's point that pricks a sleeping princess both run through legend, small things that turn a story. The fine point has long held a power out of keeping with its size.
