What does it mean to dream about cemetery?
A cemetery usually brings endings, memory, and grief to the foreground, a place to meet what has passed and what you carry of it.
Four ways to read it
Each reading below comes from a named tradition and a cited source, so you can see where it came from and decide what fits your dream.
Freud
Freud would read the graveyard as a meeting with death and with those who are gone, and sometimes as buried wishes or guilt laid to rest. The dead can stand for parts of the self set aside. Note who lies there and how you feel.

Jung might see the cemetery as a place where the old self is buried so the new can rise, an image of necessary endings within the psyche. It can mark a passage rather than a finality. Ask what in you is being laid to rest.
Jungian concept (our summary).Modern
Under the continuity view, a cemetery often reflects waking grief, memory of those lost, or thoughts of mortality and endings. Such dreams are common while mourning. Consider what loss or change you are coming to terms with.
Continuity hypothesis (our summary).Mythological
The resting place of the dead is sacred ground in every culture, a threshold between the living and what lies beyond. The grave is both an ending and, in many faiths, a doorway. The dead are honoured so they may rest.
