What does it mean to dream about resurrection?
Resurrection in a dream usually points to renewal, a fresh start, or something you thought was finished returning to life.
Four ways to read it
Each reading below comes from a named tradition and a cited source, so you can see where it came from and decide what fits your dream.
Freud
Freud would look for a wish behind the return, perhaps to have back a person, a feeling, or a chance that seemed lost. He would also read it as the reappearance of something the mind had pushed down. The dream lets what was given up come back.

Jung saw rebirth as central to individuation, the self renewing itself after a hard passage. To come back to life can mark a part of the dreamer that is being recovered or made whole. It is a hopeful image of becoming.
Jungian concept (our summary).Modern
Under the continuity view, resurrection dreams often follow recovery, reconciliation, or the wish to revive something that had stalled. The mind replays a real sense of starting again. The feeling on waking tends to be relief or wonder.
Continuity hypothesis (our summary).Mythological
Stories of the dying and returning figure run through many traditions, from gods who descend and rise to the phoenix reborn from its own ashes. These tales tied the return of life to the turning of the seasons. Renewal after loss is one of the oldest human hopes.
