What does it mean to dream about meat?
Meat tends to stand for appetite, strength, and the substance of a thing, and sometimes for what was killed to feed you.

Freud
Freud would read meat as raw appetite and bodily desire, the hunger that asks to be satisfied. It can carry aggression as well as nourishment, the act of taking and consuming. Spoiled or raw meat may turn the appetite to disgust.

Jung would see meat as the substance of life and instinct, the animal ground of the self. It can mark vigour or the cost at which vigour is bought. Ask what you are hungry for and what it asks of you.

Continuity ties meat to waking thoughts of diet, provision, and physical strength, and at times to feelings about eating it. It may follow a meal, a craving, or an unease about where food comes from. The state of the meat tends to set the tone.

Meat was the matter of sacrifice across the ancient world, the portion offered to the gods and the portion shared by the people. The hero's feast and the altar both turned on the killing and dividing of flesh.
