What does it mean to dream about vulture?
A vulture often points to waiting on an ending, picking over what remains, or a feeling that something around you is dying.
Four ways to read it
Each reading below comes from a named tradition and a cited source, so you can see where it came from and decide what fits your dream.
Freud
Freud might read the circling vulture as a wish that waits to profit from another's loss, patience tinged with appetite. Its link to death could picture feelings about an ending. He would ask what the bird means to you.

For Jung the vulture can image the part of the psyche that cleans away what has died, a grim but necessary clearing. It often appears when something must be allowed to end before renewal can come.
Jungian concept (our summary).Modern
In continuity terms a vulture may echo a recent sense of waiting for something to fail, or grief around an ending. The dream often mirrors feelings about loss and what comes after.
Continuity hypothesis (our summary).Mythological
Some ancient cultures honoured the vulture as a cleanser and even a mother symbol, carrying the dead toward renewal. Elsewhere its patience over the dying made it a grim omen.
